Windsor Hotel set to reopen subsequent summer time – The Golden Star

Speaking to The Times Friday, Aug. 27, Kendall Ballantine mentioned she and her partner purchased the Windsor by means of a foreclosures sale this summer time. Fortunately, not all of its legacy is shed — significantly from it.

“Even in the areas that have been renovated, where there has been some of that initial historical past taken out, they still have the initial hardwood flooring and the woodwork and the millwork all around the casings that we’ll be equipped to salvage,” Ballantine stressed.

In the meantime, the extended-disused resort rooms are in bad require of structural repairs, specially these underneath the building’s dilapidated roof.
