If you might be vaccinated and headed to Hawaii, you will have to hold out a bit for a longer time to use your vaccination status to avoid pre-arrival COVID-19 tests.

Gov. David Ige said Hawaii will now tie its Secure Travels application to vaccination prices in the Aloha State. The plan, which has been in operation due to the fact October, requires tourists to add evidence of a unfavorable COVID-19 check ahead of boarding their flights or face a 10-working day quarantine upon arrival.

According to the governor’s place of work, once Hawaii reaches a vaccination charge of 60%, tourists who show evidence of complete vaccination can skip the testing or quarantine requirement.
