US pays baby migrant sponsors to travel to border: report

The federal government is paying out travel prices for sponsors attempting to select up migrant youngsters from shelters, amid the surge of unaccompanied children trying to find asylum at the border.

The coverage underscores the White House’s urgency to get the children out of beleaguered and overcrowded shelters, according to Axios.

About 275 minimal migrants have been arriving at the southern border from Central The usa day to day, and about 20,000 are reportedly in federal custody. The US is not turning them absent for humanitarian explanations.
