Rejoice Women’s Background Month With Travel-Themed Jigsaw Puzzles From This Girl Owned Business

Like so a lot of others, I learned Piece & Appreciate by eeBoo early on in the pandemic when I was lacking travel so much, I did not know what to do with myself.

“Try doing a puzzle,” a friend proposed.

I rolled my eyes and laughed for the reason that that seemed like these kinds of a boring, aged particular person thing to do. But, as I uncovered that a stunning amount of my pals were being closet puzzlers, I commenced Googling “cool puzzles.” Annoyed that I was not likely to be in a position to stop by Chicago to see the Frida Kahlo exhibition at the Cleve Carney Museum of Art, I finished up on the MoMA Layout Keep website, wherever I gave in and requested Viva la Vida.

It was the commencing of a new obsession.

Viva la Vida was complicated but so substantially entertaining to do simply because the colors had been lively, the pieces glossy, and the picture so interesting and comprehensive, it influenced me to understand far more about Kahlo – and about Piece & Really like by eeBoo. Billed as Girl Owned, Mom Operate, Sustainably Sourced, this was a company who knew what sort of puzzles I needed. It was a business I wanted to support.

I revisited Copenhagen, London and New York through Piece & Love by eeBoo, spending several hours happily engrossed in placing together the parts and reminiscing about some of my preferred journeys. I did dozens of travel-connected puzzles from other providers, as nicely, but normally arrived back to Piece & Enjoy by eeBoo. Apparently, I’m not the only a single.

“During the pandemic, we have observed an increased interest in travel-themed puzzles,” reported Mia Galison, Founder, President and Creative Director of eeBoo. “As we continue being isolated, persons are contemplating of ways to include the excitement of bodily journey into their lives. A fantastically illustrated jigsaw puzzle can evoke the magical feelings associated with the liminal place of vacation: the thoughts linked with arriving at dawn in a new city, the shock morning look at at your window following checking in right after dim, or a sudden glimpse down a charming alley way.

“Each of our city puzzles is an original commissioned illustration from feminine artists all-around the entire world, featuring landmarks, vintage features and eccentricities that embody the spirit of the location. We like to combine classic travel places with much more exotic or lesser-recognized locales. All of our puzzles offer a respite from display-time, opportunity for families to be together, and the enjoyment of becoming transported someplace else by the act of putting the pieces together.”

I lately built my way through the stunning Venice Open Industry by way of Piece & Adore by eeBoo, and have good reminiscences of Paris In A Day and Cats in Positano, both of those of which Galison suggests “were not possible to keep in stock this summer months.”

I’m thrilled to journey alongside with Piece & Like by eeBoo even immediately after I begin touring yet again in authentic daily life. In truth, their hottest puzzles are inspiring me to insert some new places to my have bucket listing.

“In our upcoming Getaway line, German illustrator Uta Krogmann depicts Berlin, a city of dynamic multicultural power,” claims Galison. “For our growing Canadian current market, we commissioned New music in Montreal, by artist Caroline Bonne Mueller, depicting women of all ages in a lively effectiveness on a wintry road corner, capturing the spirit of the city’s lively new music scene.  The Market in Marrakesh evokes the colors, smells and commotion of a Moroccan bazaar fantastically engulfing a couple of delighted vacationers. We are also performing with Australian illustrator Miranda Sofroniou to adhere to these two travelers to other destinations they also seem in our lively puzzle Coral Reef, as perfectly as Hike in the Woods, surrounded by big mushrooms and colorful woodland fauna.”

I just cannot hold out to start off piecing collectively these scenes and finding to know these locations. What is most puzzling is why I didn’t get into this interest previously.
