Illinois woman accused of utilizing faux vaccine card in Hawaii
An Illinois lady has been charged soon after allegedly applying a faux vaccine card on a trip.
OAK Lawn – An Oak Garden girl was arrested Saturday for allegedly making use of a bogus COVID-19 vaccine card to travel to Hawaii.
Hawaii Information Now experiences authorities became suspicious when they recognized “Moderna” on the vaccine card was spelled erroneous. It was spelled “Maderna,” court files allege.
Chloe Mrozak, 24, was charged with falsifying vaccine paperwork — a misdemeanor offense.
Screeners were skeptical of Mrozak’s meant CDC card when she arrived Aug. 23 at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, according to a report submitted by investigators with the Hawaii legal professional general’s office.
The phony vaccine card claimed Mrozak was vaccinated in Delaware, in accordance to the report. Even so, officials say no state report exists.
Investigators had been not able to uncover her originally simply because the lodge reservation she remaining with screeners turned out to be incorrect.

Mrozak allegedly disregarded phone calls and e-mail from investigators above the future couple times, so they waited for her at the airport for her return flight Saturday.
When they arrested her at the Southwest Airways counter, she allegedly “made a spontaneous utter” that she’d gotten her shot at a doctor’s office environment and paid out for it, the report states.
Mrozak is getting held on $2,000 bail.
