Kyrie Irving, Landry Shamet will not journey with Nets on 3-activity road journey

Neither Kyrie Irving nor Landry Shamet will travel with the Nets on their three-video game road trip to Portland, Utah and Detroit, ESPN reviews in independent news tales.

Although Shamet’s absence is not a shock just after he sprained his ankle vs. Washington Sunday evening, Irving’s is. The Nets cited a “family subject,’ not offering facts. Mallika Andrews was 1st to report the information.

Irving, of system, missed eight video games early in the season to offer with “personal” issues. In that scenario, the absence was unauthorized and resulted in a fine. This appears distinctive.

Although Shamet will not be touring either, an MRI of his ankle was “clean,” Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted before Monday. That would advise there’s no tender tissue destruction and that the injuries can be managed with therapy rather than surgical procedure.

There is no term but on when Kevin Durant will return from his lingering hamstring situation. He was found shooting about prior to the Magic activity in Orlando Friday but not prior to the Wizards recreation in Brooklyn Sunday.
