HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Two local sisters are off to Bowling Eco-friendly, Kentucky to contend in the 73rd U.S. Girls Junior Golfing Championships.

Hauula natives, Mia and Ava Cepeda, certified for the tournament on June 18 at Hualalai Golf System in Kailua-Kona.

The Cepeda sisters are coached by their moms and dads Karla and Baxter at Initial Tee Hawaii.

A milestone accomplishment for any junior golfer, but to be in a position to do it with your sister is even a lot more particular.
