ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) – Cody Cade, 30, was indicted by the Chemung County Grand Jury immediately after an August police chase and Oct drug arrest, both equally in Horseheads.
On August 23, 2020, Horseheads Police reported that Cade failed to pull over for a traffic stop at the on-ramp from South Main Avenue to I-86. Cade allegedly fled at a substantial fee of pace ahead of getting rid of management and driving into a grassy location where by he tried to flee on foot just before surrendering.

The Horseheads Law enforcement Office was assisted by the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office during the chase.
On Oct. 30 Cade was a person of five people arrested as portion of the “Operation Just take Back the Streets Initiative” cracking down on drug use in local motels.
Cade was arrested at the Econo Lodge in Major Flats for Criminal possession of Cannabis in the Fourth Degree and Criminal Possession of a Managed Compound in the Seventh Diploma, each Course A Misdemeanors.

Cade has now been indicted on two counts of legal possession of a managed material in the 3rd diploma, one count of criminal possession of a managed substance in the fourth degree, one count of prison possession of a controlled compound in the fifth degree, and unlawful fleeing a law enforcement officer in a motor car in the 3rd diploma.
